Paint Bulletin Board System (PBBS)

These are very popular among japanese sites, usually the art sites, as the system allows users to paint.

I can't seem to find a suitable system like this in english for download, just to test it out. It would be interesting to implement a PBBS into a vBulletin, since they are sorta interesting..

It basically uses some kind of java applet to do the painting part.
Oekai, I believe (is how it's spelled), is the kind of style of art most of the japanese artist do with PBBS...

Here is another one.. but as said the general concept is you draw pictures via a java-applet and then along with a message/subject you submit the work and it gets published.

If anyone has any info on a english-PBBS, please let me know.

Hmm, i could make something like it with javascript and php, they can click on small boxes and change them to a certain color then click output and use GD to create the image they made
