a way to take pm rights totally away for just 1 user also how do you turn pm's totally off

You can move the user to a group that has no PM rights. PM's can be turned off in the options section of your control panel

can do group permission apply to all of its members? so can i make a custom group and add member assuming all their permission match the group's?

when you move a member to a group, the member gets the permissions of the new group UNLESS you have set up custom access masks for the member to override the usergroup access rights.

thanks everyone I created another group called registered i can't believe it let me create a group with the same name but it did took the pm rights away and it is invisible to the board
