These forums need some serious work, but i want to know what you suggest i should do to make them look better, so can you look around and tell me what needs changing, so i can get to work on things, i don't really want a massive, graphically enhanced site, just something simplistic, the things i feel that i need to alter, are...

• New postbit is a must, i've been using parts from other postbits i got from vBT and the top image from a lil practise with a tut, so i definately need to get another made, since now it looks terrible
• Better header image. I wanted to stretch it, but it wouldn't look as good, so i'm going to do for something kinda like what Web Design Forums has, i like those kind of headers
• New footer image. I've been altering the forumhome template quite a bit recently, so things have got a lil out of shape, that needs to be sorted, and made into a table
• One thing i want to get done is a proper submission system, kinda like on vbulletin.org, in the full releases forum the new thread is different, although i havent received help from my thread, but hopefully i can get that done and a proper GFX League System done for my forums, since many of them there enjoy making things like Signitures, since i'm starting to improve with php, these things may be added sometime

These forums arn't much to look at now, but hopefully we will be one to look out for in the near future, all i really want out of this thread, is what you think i should get added to the forums, nothing too graphical, or too large, just something simplistic

-Why do you have default buttons with a new header?
-Too clogged up at the bottom, don't put users online and todays active users together. Confusing.

lol, this is one of my forums http://www.dbzvforums.com (I also have a vb). Ok I stop now before someone gets angry...

Yours is very slow and I cant even see posts, guess I need to register... And its the typical anime forum layout... (I am not saying mine is great).

- You have such an awesome header yet no writing on it.
- Default buttons plague the site
- Purple bg on load-up looks silly until the image over the top loads. Perhaps change the hex in the body tag to a light grey
- The default IE border around the big main table looks silly
- Your footer doesn't stretch across the table.
- I'd shorten the width of the main table so it's the same width as the content table

i'm not really sure why it's so slow compared to other forums, since we're hardly active most of the time, and isn't very good since we spent quite a bit on hosting

Perhaps consider switching hosts then. I bet someone could find you a better deal
