Is there a hack that displays a random number that a user must type in to continue with a registration? I had over 9,000 new users to our forum today because of the flaw in vBulletin that allows a script to be run (which they haven't addressed) This is quite annoying and I think a hack such as this would fix it.

Ummm.. I am sure it could be made.. but I dont think its a flaw to let users register. You can turn off new registrations I believe.

It's a flaw when you have 10,060 fake registrations in the span of an hour. This hack would prevent a script such as this from being run.

I would suggest shutting down new registrations for the time being, for your server's sake.
