It is a terrible shame what has happened. For the seven astronauts, their families and friends, and for those in Texas who may be affected directly by the debris. Humans, as a general whole, should not take for granted that flying itself is pretty neat for us - but to go into and back from space is downright mind boggling. We should not taken anything for granted.
