Is there a way to link avatars from another site and it not get stored locally on to your server?

Hmmmz Don't know for sure.
I also dont get why they get stored when you add an URL :|

It is stored simply to reduce page loading times by having to go and fetch images from other places...

There is a hack in the Full Releases Forum...
