I'm wanting to limit where registered members go in my forums (we host several clan forums, and have had several flame wars break out between clans). What I'm after is a way for a new or existing user to reqeust access to a forum group, and have that group's moderator approve or deny access to the specific user.
Main reason I want to do it this way is we have around 600 or so users now, and 2 of the clans have over 2000 members with more signing up every day. I guess I could set up groups for every clan, but I'd have to change the users access for the ones we have now, and I don't know who all goes where ![]() |

Well...
You could use Lesane's "Moderator Application" hack, and just change it so that instead of for Moderators, it could be for Clans ![]() Satan |
