all i want to do is reset it so all members have their option "receive email from administartors" set to YES,

thats all, can anyone tell me how to do that

Haven't tested it on later versions of vB, but I can't see why it shouldn't work still...

Go with Sparkz hack.

It's much better to choose whether or not override user's choice independently for every admin mail, instead of forcefully and irrevocably overwriting db field.
