Automatically parse images
I need to display images by automatically parsing the URL of the image. How do I do that?

You should be able to do this already.
Go to Admin CP -> vBulletin Options -> Posting Code allowances (vB code / HTML / etc) -> Allow Dynamic URL for [img] tags? Set to YES. Then just use the img tags. |

I don't want to use IMG tags. I want to paste the URL of the image and I want to display the image automatically. It's the same as URL parsing but for images.

I see what you mean... that needs hacking of functions.php... when I have time I will look at it...

I don't really care if UserCP option to turn off IMG code is working or not. I really need that simple IMG parse hack. :bunny:

So this is why IMG tags are for: Only the poster can know it if it's an image or not.. |
