I like it. But for me i like to se if there is a new post in a certain forum on the forum home page. But thats yust me i think.
You havnt been thinking about making those categorys in to closed forums instead ?
Other then that "wich is a SMALL problem and yust for me i think" it looks great.
Wery clean style.

I like the forum style! but you deserve a more professional looking logo / header. That would make a huge difference
