Does anyone know a site that explains how to install gzip compression on apache2, or would anyone here know how to? I have an idea how the modules work, but I have yet to find a good tutorial so I can make sure I am doing it correctly...

If it's gzip compression for the forums then it's the Zlib library you need installing into PHP, rather than gzip into Apache?

LoL guess your right about that .. Can both be done? ... does apache already have the modules?

Both can be done. But you won't gain anything by compressing the output twice.
