I found a nice hack here in the forums that I thought would be of great use on my board... It was written by VeloCD, and I have tried to contact him/her about getting permission to use it, but haven't heard anything back...

You don't need permission to use it, if it's already in the hack database then its available to vb licensed customers..

to download hacks you will need to go to this page and enter your email address, to show you are licensed. (you will need to use your customer number and password to access that page). yada, yada, yada..

i think some of you have missunderstood this post

@Evil Chris: Hacks which are released here, can be used freely on your board, you don't need to ask the author if you can use it.

You just have to ask the author if you want to use some of his code to code something else and release this to someone...

Thanks for clearing this up for me! I guess I'm still new to this particular environment and didn't want to over-tread my boundaries.

The hack I had my eye on was the custompage hack. This one.
