HTML Table Problem..

Alright.. I cannot seem to understand why this wont work. Here is the table code I am using and the error as you will see it.

One of the rules of good HTML coding is that you should not have an empty table cell - it will give you a HTML error - that table will not show up in Netscape at all probably.

Try to add a & nbsp; (remove the space between & and nbsp; ) in the empty cell, or a transparent gif.

Try this:

    <table width="100%" height="12%" border="0" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0">
      <tr>
        <td valign="bottom">
          <img src="bg.gif" height="15" width="100%">
        </td>
      </tr>
      <tr bgcolor="#777777">
        <td>
         & nbsp;
        </td>
      </tr>
    </table>

Remove the space between & and nbsp; (stupid vB.org parses it so it disappears as a space).

THis is a side file I am using so its not attached to VB.. and the   hasnt worked. I use to have a logo in the table but it looked the same.. :|

+ im pretty sure u can't have a bgcolor in the <tr> tag

You can have bgcolor in a <tr> but it was deprecated in HTML 4.01 and is not supported in XHTML 1.0 Strict.
