vB 2.2.8 user.
Is there or will there be: (1) any way to subscribe a user group to one or more forums such that adding a new user to the group will subscribe them to everything the group is supposed to subscribe to? (2) any way to belong to multiple groups? (not in v2, I understand) I am trying to design a vB solution for a $400 million company who wants to communicate to its 300+ supplier companies reliably. This will be an administrative nightmare without being able to manage the subscriptions by groups. Any ideas about v3 functionality here? |

It's not possible in vb2 without hacking.
Maybe if there are enough request for this hack, someone could make it and release it here.... Anyway, maybe you'll want to wait until vb3 comes out.

V3 can't come too soon, then! From the specs I've seen, I hate to start up new boards until it's here. Word is sometime 2003 1Q, which sounds like a looooooooong time for impatient techies like me.

I keep 'hearing' about V3. Is there an updated 'projected' release date?
