Not getting this answered anywhere
Trying to setup a 2.2.8 vBulletin on a Win2k IIS platform to demonstrate to some people for a new board. PHP installed and running but vBulletin install is falling over on a CGI script error "heading tags not returned". Anyone got a step by step guide to getting around this.

All ready did Josh and not getting any answers. Apparently something to do with php being in cgi mode. Decided to run up a Linux box to get around it :dead:

Very wise... Linux is much more stable for something like this.

I've had that issue before when trying to install some other PHP software on a Win2k machine
It was simply headaches after headaches. |

You got that one right Josh, installed PHP 4.2.3 last week and was a real headache getting it to run, needed to change read/write/execute on a number of files and update IIS. Hopefully plain sailing with Linux. Going with Redhat 7.3 and will report back on how it all went.
