In the version drop down, maybe, if the hacker has made sure the hack works in ie. 2.2.x, that option should be in the drop down menu?

Sorry, I don't understand wha tyou mean. Do you mean the hacker should keep updating the vB version of hacks as new ones come out and the hack works for it?

I think he means that there should be another selectable option that says "2.2.x", meaning that it will work on any 2.2. version...

That would be a good idea as a majority of hacks do work on 2.2.x, may save the question of will this hack work on 2.2.4 etc being posted god knows how many times throughout the thread.

Yeah, see many hacks are mini-hacks which modify code which will hardly ever be modified! So if the hacker is sure the hack will work on 2.2.x or something, that option should be available

Most major addition, that don't have major file modifications will work on 2.2.x
