vb IMG code = only from our server?
Is there a hack where I can restrict the vb IMG code to only accept images from our server?
I'd like to make a repository of graphics (not smilies) that people can put in their sigs, but the last time I enabled the vb IMG code, they were using HUGE-O graphics from other sites. THANKS!!! :cheeky: Jennifer. |

you'll probably have to alter the bbcodeparse function and add some php to not parse the [img] tags if they don't include the url to your site... you would have to use expressions but im not good with them sorry >_O... but it is a good idea maybe i will see what i can do if i get the time...

Use the Signature Systems Hack that does just that - allows people to upload images for their sigs. You can then just disable the img tags in sigs.

I don't want them to upload images. We are going to have an image page where we will have images to offer. That way, we can control the content and size.

I just created a new vb code called [gr].. which references only a local file directory on the server. No hacks needed.
If you are interested in this code.. email me and I'll tell you the details. jennifer@babynames.com |
