Req: Tutorial Section Hack

I have seen this hack for invisionboard and i'd like to see it for vbulletin to.

here is a small description of the ib hack:

adds a tutorial section to the forums
Features :
- Fully Searchable
- Unlimited Sections
- Unlimited Categories
- User Submission
- Admin control Panel
- User Ratings
- HTML and IBCode Integration

If someone has the time to look at the code and port it to vbb or write something similar vould be great

I think this is easier to do when you make a specific category the tutorial 'part' and the forums in there are the tutorial categories, where 'normal' posts contain the actual tutorials...
that's not very hard to do (1 or 2 file edit, maybe add some templates)

if i have some more time i'll look further into this...

in forumdisplay.php, find:

REPLACE that with:

}
else {
  eval("\$newthreadlink = \"".gettemplate('forumdisplay_tutoriallink')."\";");
} 


where the forum id's of my toturial 'categories' are 5 and 6 (you can change them or add them like: && $forumid!=x where x is the forum id)

add a new template called 'forumdisplay_tutoriallink' with the following content:

finally upload the attached image to your imagesfolder...

i was more looking to have the post showing in a different way
i might look into something different maybe virtuanews will do what i need
mmore like an article tutorial sectipn that uses same db as vbulletin and template but look different.
have a look at the first 2 links for see what i mean.
