is this a postbit and if it is where can i find a tutorial or hack for makign my own....

That is just a table background. Just edit the template forumhome_forumbit_level1_nopost and add a bg image to the table header. A postbit is the template that is rendered to display a user's posts, including their information on the left column in a showthread page.

Btw, you double posted the same post in 2 forums.

OR go into your admin cp...

Goto Styles > Modify

Then in the Category Backgound Color box change the hex to:

PHP Code:

#000000" background="{ imagesfolder}/catbg.gif" 


Note: You can change the #000000 to suit your look as the page loads... Also removed the gap from inbetween the "{" and "imagesfolder" and of course you have to make your own catbg.gif gradient

thanx for the great comment but by the time you guys alway got to commenting on this i already found what i was looking for took 5 hours to findi it and get it in the way i wanted but i got it
