Where would I put an auto-redirect?
Here's the scoop - I have one set of vb code that has 2 sites pointing to it:
internal.company.net external.company.com Internal users hit it with the internal URL, external (outside firewall) get to it through a portal anywhere on the internet. PPN on the vb team was gracious enough to provide me a code snippet that whenever a topic is moved, the base url it uses to indicate the moved thread is actually the site they happened to have called, (either the .net or .com site, depending on where they are) Now what I'd like to do is to force users to use https, but they *may* enter http instead. Where is the best/easiest place to do a redirect to the same URL they called, (either .net or .com), and just point it to the https secured flavor and resend them the front page? Would this be a hack in index.php? Anyone have any examples? Thanks Muchos Gracias in advance! Ryan Hulslander |

Oh - even better. Since I run this on Apache, is there anything in the Apache server that would replace ANY url the person typed in relative to my site that said "http://" with "https://" first and then process the request?
Thx! |
