I have been contracted by a site owner who bought a license for vBulletin to make some modifications to it for him.

I have read in a few posts here that if an owner logs in here he can give my account access to more area's of this forum.

I have two questions:

1. Could someone please describe this process to be so that I can have him do it?

2. If he enables my account does that give me the ability to post to this forum and to download hacks?

Thanks for help, need an answer asap, time critical project.

Yes, all you need to do is to ask him to go to this page and enter your username, to show you are working for a licensed forum. (He will need to use his customer number and password to access that page.) After he does that you will be able to post in these forums and download hacks.
