north american map hack.

I run a medium sized car enthusiast site @ http://www.mazdamp3.com. I've been regularly changing the code here and there, adding stuff as I see fit, and I have one particular hack I'm proud of, but I lack the expertise and time to build it into a hack that could be shared with others.

Check it out and tell me what you think!

If you are a registered user, it sorts by distance, otherwise I think it does date of registraton (I forget now).

I also wrote a file management hack. This allows people to upload files which are stored in the mysql database. What's the cool part, you ask? Well, these images inherit a true URL. For example, I logged into my account and uploaded a file, "birthdaycake.gif" through the file management hack. This file because available at the address

. This means that files can then be put in a post using the [IMG] tag, which means you can inline images instead of just attaching them. Unfortunately it's kinda complicated and most people don't know the feature is there but some people use it .

Thanks for running this forum by the way looking at other hacks helps me better understand how to "poperly" do my hacks.

Cheers,

Enry
