restrict the size of over-sized avatars on the boards

I was thinking of a hack that would allow the board to auto-matically resize an avatar if the avatar a person was using was larger then the said dimensions. For example if i set the width and height of an avatar to 112 x 137 and the avatar a person was using was 130 x 130 the board would resize to 112 x 137 when its displayed in the thread.

any ideas guys?

would it resize it or just use a width="" height="" tag

because bigger avatars = bigger sizes

just if someones using a avatar larger than what its set at it resizes the image to the maximum. If a persons avatar is smaller than the max it does nothing.
