A hack that is template driven. Would allow a user to :

*manage his own pictures with captions
*a guestbook
*give the member a choice of several themes
*alter a paragraph to those vewing his/her page

Other suggestions/ideas welcome.

1 more thing. I would need to have it where only certain usergroups can access/create.

I would not imagine this is as complicated as we are all thinknig.

Picture vBulletin's user CP. Now a few extra DB fields for pictures and captions. I would imagine you could use a single forum that displays only there for the guest book.

The Intro paragraph that is customizable by the member is nothing more than an additional sig box.

If I undrestood DB queries I could do it myself.

1. There is a hack already for this...
2. Just create another styles set and rip out the contents of the forumdisplay template and use one of the many available guestbook scripts out there and make sure that when you create the forum that you use the new style set...
3. Isn't this the same as styles?????
4. Can you elaborate?
