Is there a way to stop people hiding when browsing the board apart from go through and change everyone seperatly.

Run this query:

UPDATE user SET invisible=0;

And edit modifyoptions / registeradult templates to remove the field.

Ho do I run a query? or do I just remove
UPDATE user SET invisible=0;
from the template.

Can you explain this a little more in detail? Im not quite sure where i need to go or what to do to remove this "hiding" from the users profile.

This was probably a solution for vB2. For vB3 you can edit the Usergroup option 'Can Set Self to Invisible Mode'

yep go to usergroups and in the options for them - tick the box that says `allow usergroup to be set to invisable`
