what code do I need to edit, to put the "currently active users" at the top of the board.. above the first catagory...

do you mean the active users in that forum or the number of users online?

the number of users online...

the one that displays the members and amount of guests that are on the board.

It involves editing your Templates...

I am not entirely sure how you do it, but check in the Templates Forum...

I am sure there are references there...
