Req: "who installed this" hack??????

my php is poor. but i think this is just a littile case for you guys!

just like here got(see the picture below):

i hope there will be a addtion function in the hack:
show a waring message and disable the download function to the users if the percentage of install with download is less then x% . so the user must click on the install buttem to reactive his download function.

Why?
Maybe I don't want everyone to know which hacks I have installed. While the install button serves as a good way to show the author that you appreaciate the hack, you should not force anyone into using it.

Besides, I often download hacks without actually installing them anywhere. Maybe because I don't like the way they are coded, or maybe I just want to see how the hacker has accomplished a certain feature, etc...

yes, you are right. i saw this function in another BBS.
some members think that is useful .
it shows what kind of goods that they perfer.
if you are the author of the hack.there are lot of people download your hack.but no one shows you he or she installed it. that is so sad. Authors should always be respect.

that is why i want to have this hack.

I think a post/pm/email or whatever to the author show much more respect than pressing a button to just be able to download the hack.

What you are requesting does not really serve a purpose in my eyes. What would stop someone from pressing install, download and then press uninstall?

If you like the hack, send the author an email, pm or something like that. Don't force me to press that button if I for some reason do not want ppl to see what hacks I have downloaded, or something similar.

As I said in the first post, I - and I am sure alot of other ppl too - like to look at hack prior to downloading them. Sometimes, if I like the idea, but not the implementation, I'll rewrite it from scratch to suit my needs and demands.
