I spent a while installing various hacks on my forum.. and now my forum is telling me to upgrade.... thing is if i do ill have to re-install all the hacks right?

Is there anyway to upgrade and keep your hacks without having to do it all over again?

I know this is probably a silly question, but i figured there was no harm in asking... and i didnt really know where to stick it, so i stuck it in general chat.. i hope thats ok

you'll find upgrade files in full releases which tell you what to do to upgrade to the newest version. Kinda like an upgrade hack.

ive upgraded b4, and i had to re-upload a whole bunch of new PHP files, thus overwriting the old ones, but this will mean i will loose all the editing i did to them... and i dont want to have to re-install all my hacks cos it was pure luck that they installed right in the first place (i usually always botch it :ermm: )...

Read what the person is telling you. I fyou follow direction files where he said they are (full releases) hacks wont be aletered (significantly in msot cases).
