Don't think you can remove that, it's just part of the table. Try making the cellpadding/spacing (whatever it's called) lower in the template of these smilies.

eh? It's in the getclickysmilies() function in functions.php
PHP Code:
$smiliebits .= "<td>".$smilieArray[$count++]."&nbsp;</td>\n"
change it to
PHP Code:
                    $space iif($j==($smcolumns-1), '''&nbsp;');

$smiliebits .= "<td>".$smilieArray[$count++]."$space</td>\n"
Now be nicer to the others who ask for help

Yeah that, replace that with this:
PHP Code:
            $smiliebits .= "<td>".$smilieArray[$count++].iif($smcolumns==$j+1"""&nbsp;")."</td>\n"

Ok, I'd likd to do something similar only my problem is the clickable smilies display with NO space preceding their insertion. In other words

test text space after the smilie but not before it.

I tried doing this:

"&nbsp; <td>".$smilieArray

IE: inserting an &nbsp; in front of the <td> bracket similar to the way the actual code has an &nbsp; next to the </td> but unfortunately I didn't get the results I was looking for.

What code do I have to insert so that when a user clicks on a clickable smilie that the smilie is posted into the thread with a space IN FRONT OF the smilie (there by seperating it from the word preceding it). I'm hoping this will be something basic & simple. Thanks.
