Previous Post When Edited
When a post is edited, I hate that you can't view what the original post was. This is annoying not only when a user edits a really long post because they changed their mind or something, but also when a moderator edits a post.
Especially when a mod edits a post though. Because then, if you, the admin, didn't see it, and the user complains that it was unfairly edited, you can't make any judgement because you don't know what the edited post was. I'd like this to be only viewable by admins and mods. What you need to do is create a new table in the database such as edit_oldpost or something and have it stored to that when a user, admin or mod edits their post. Then, if a post has been edited and a user is an admin or a mod, there is a link to view the old post. I'd love this and it would help a lot. |
