good point. the problem is this:
for the human eye, if is all too uniform it becomes boring after a certain time. a contrast help you define better other areas.. and the way the bar is placed there is to harmonize with the posts that will follow

the idea of blue is the match with the top website logo and nav bar.. i will post more screenshots when i have more time to work on it. cheers.
