Though a release candidate is probably not due for a couple more months.

We're hacking away at it (Kier and I) every day but I don't expect you to have a beta to play with for at least another month or two.

ahh nice, only a month or two. the bad part is that i may be working on a bunch of useless hacks for my board now cuz you prolly will add most of them to vb3.
