How to change the thread view mode from the current Threaded View (show all messages in the same thread in one or several pages) mode to another Collapsed View mode?

A Collapsed View mode is to display only one message in a page and related messages brief (no message body, only the Subject, Username, PostDate) of the same thread in a TEXTAREA field.
