is there a way to generate a post in a specifc forum whenever a calendar event is posted... so every event is listed in a forum and people can comment on them

I`m looking for something the same, but instead be able to post a calendar event from a regular post new thread.
Is there any hack out there that does this? |

It leads you to the Add Public Event box.. Over there you fill in the event properties. When finished you press OK and it does a coupl of things: - It makes a public event in the calendar (as normal) - It makes a thread in the Party Calendar forum, in this format "[date] title" , for example "[2003-05-16] Traffic @ Melkweg, Amsterdam" - It updates all counters (forum, thread, user) - redirects to the new topic |
