Is this a hack? (action=showpost)

A post with the normal url:

A post with action=showpost:

https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthrea...&postid=217385

So it shows the post as a single post when you add action=showpost, is this a hack or just a new feature in 2.2.*?

it was in 2.0.3 i think i've got most of series 1 and 2 downloads, just not sure on what hard disk :E

Been there for quite a while. It was first used when the ignore users mechanism was changed (instead of hiding the post completely, a link to the post was added (which used showpost of course)), but I think it was there even before.

I'm using 2.2.5, editied the postbit template correctly, but it doesn't work for me. How can I implement?

I got it installed months ago and with ver 2.2.5 still works perfectly.
Just, when applying some hack to that file, I had to do twice ...
For example, with 'minimum posts' or 'password hack' or whatever else...

Now I would try to mixup better the 'action=="showpost"' section with the othes in reason to write most parts only once.
Did anyone solved this point, already ?
