1) You can change the white to a picture using the templates. You can find out more about templates at www.vbulletin.com/forum/ in the Templates forum.

2) To create new categories just create a new forum and set its "Act as Forum" option to No.

3) You have to use an external spyware program called Comet Cursors to change the cursor on your page. I recommend against using it though because it will invade your end-user's privacy.
