We need a hack where a post posted in one forum is automatically posted into another specified forum. Is this possible and how?

Do you mean that EVERY new thread that is posted by ANYONE in Forum A is automatically duplicated in Forum B?
Now how should this work...that the thread is simply copied when it's posted, but after that, they are independent of each other, meaning you can reply in one thread and it stays there only, and the reply does not show up in the other one? Or do you want all replies to duplicate as well? |

I'd prefer the threads just get copied to the specified forum and replies get duplicated as well. I have replies disabled in the particular category, so I never really thought of that . Dosen't really matter to me either, whatever can be designed fastest . I assume it would be easier to just copy the thread and leave the new replies independant, as that would take less code modification. |

Would that be possible?
