Italics and bold with admin and mods

We have just put 2.2.1 on, upgrading from 2.0.1, and ...... this admin' italics and mod's bold in users on line is something we want to get rid of.

I saw somewhere a reference to the italics aspect but can no longer find it, despite searches.

I imagine this will require changes in index.php but it seems that instead of simply looking for standard html attributes to change, this is wrapped up within variables.

Plus ... couldn't find any obvious ref to the mods that seemed to tie in with any bold attribute.

Anyone able to give me a quick fix here? Or at least point out the code line #'s maybe and the relevant variables etc.

We are still quite new to VB (2 1/2 months now .....Patriotnetwork ) - all help gratefully appreciated.

The "Highlight Admin" setting in vBulletin Options controls that.

Go to your admin cp. vB Options on the left. In "forum home page options" section there will be ayes/no question labeled "Highlight Admin". Pick no. If you're running 2.2.1 that option should be there. Double check if you can't ind it.

Thanks Codename ... as i mentioned above ... in my 3rd edit!! ... I did find it after all ... just not observant enough!!!

I am most grateful for the input here ... minor problem but so easily solved when help from the right people.

There was me expecting to have to go ''sleuthing'' thru umpteen files.
