PM popup on non VB page

Is there a way to have that PM popup on site frontpage? If I copy index.php into something else, use a different template with PM info only, then include it as a SSI in front page, will that work?

This would be cool since I've integrated vB into a MyYahoo kinda dealy.......

Take a look at my site. On entering the site, members get the popup and the blinking bar. In fact, I got the entire control panel installed.
