I have a specific compatibility question that I'd appreciate some insights on before making a decision. My website is currently running on PHP version 7.4, and I was wondering if vBulletin is fully compatible with this PHP version? I'd love to hear about any experiences you might have had with this combination

VBulletin 5.x up to 5.7.2 were compatible with php 7.4 php 8.0 is required for versions 5.7.3 and greater. Php 8.1 is recommended.
