This client has been with me for years and all of sudden email stopped sending. She is using an outlook smpt. Doing the diagnostic got this error..

PHP User Warning: 421 Authorization to the SMTP server failed in ..../includes/class_mail.php on line 715

Is this just an authentication error with their username or password? They are saying they haven't changed it.

Without looking at the server logs, thats hard to say what the issue is.

It could be as simple as resetting their password.

It could be a connection issue.

Always remember to check your server error_logs, if this is still an issue, you can try the changes mentioned here in post #2:
