External vb5 login module in php

He everyone,
in my old vb4 i did an external script to use the login account detail (username and password).

It work in this way:
if( $myrow['password'] == md5(md5($INpassword).$myrow['salt'] ) )
{
etc etc

I ask for the password and username in input and after i check.

But in vb5 this do not work.

Someone can help me ?
