NavBar directs to incorrect URL
Hi, I have vB4 Suite and use vBAdvanced for my forum portal.
On the Navbar, most of the links are fine. What's New? , Articles , and Forum all direct to their correct locations. HOWEVER, the Blog redirects incorrectly. So, my portal is at mywebsite.net/forum/portal.php The blog is located at mywebsite.net/forum/blog.php . This link is also what is displayed when I hover the "Blog" link on the navbar. But what it is directed to is entirely different, and doesn't work. mywebsite.net/blog/blog.php If I click the navbar link from my main forum page (mywebsite.net/forum/home.php) , it redirects fine. It's a vBadvanced conflict line, right? I'm sure the solution is a really simple one, I just can't for the life of me think of where it is. I can't ask on the vBadvanced site because it's down for me at the moment. |

I don't know.
vBadvanced uses the default vBulletin navigation bar. It SHOULD be fine. Like I said, all other links are. As you can see in the image attached, hovering over "Blogs" shows the "/forum/blog.php" (the correct link) but the link changes when you click it to "/forum/blog/blog.php" but ONLY from the vBadvanced user portal. Click the tab from any other page, and it works correctly. Attachment 157501 Edit : Ah, shit. Seems like it's actually worse than that. I just tried to delete a post, and during it was directed to an incorrect URL again, thus the process did not complete. .......net/forum/forum/inlinemod.php?t=1&p=11&postids=11 There should only be one /forum/ there. What have I done? What have I broken? DX |

That's not going to help at the moment because it's turned off/closed due to fixing things.
The issue might even come from having the /forum and /blog values in a table somewhere. I'm sure that the fix is really simple, I'm just not looking in the right places. I feel like I've been through this before, but I can't remember what I did to rectify it. --------------- Added [DATE]1571839443[/DATE] at [TIME]1571839443[/TIME] --------------- Update : I fixed the second issue (.......net/forum/forum/inlinemod.php?t=1&p=11&postids=11) by emptying the Forum Component URL box from the Options setting. I still need to fix the "/forum/blog/blog.php" issue though. The Blog Component URL box is already empty from that setting, so it's not being caused by the same issue. Is it a .htaccess issue? I don't really want to play with it though because I don't know how to edit these properly. |

Update : Nevermind. It appears that I just fixed it somehow? Don't ask me what I did, but it's working now.... =_=
