Hi there
I prepared my forum to display emojis, and every thing is OK, but I get black diamonds when I add reply using quick reply editor, and when try to edit post contains emojis!! So is there a solution to stop this annoying behavior? Sincerely Yours. |

I'm not an expert on emojis but I believe that means the character set you are using does not recognize the Unicode or replacement code for the emoji.
I believe you need to be using UTF-8 MB4 in order for browsers to recognize the emojis. |

Thank you In Omnibus for reply
I put the right settings for character set and database collation, the emojis appears in my forum, the problem related to quick reply form, then when disabled ajax in showthread it works fine using my mobile phone, but the problem still exist for my computer browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Opera and Microsoft Edge). --------------- Added [DATE]1562633437[/DATE] at [TIME]1562633437[/TIME] --------------- After a lot of investigations, the problem related to ajax, I don't know why it didn't send emojis right to database, any suggestions? |
