Verify user accepts PMs before sending

Hi,

Don't know about you, but on my BB one of the most annoying issues has always been the case where you write a long PM, hit 'send' only to get the error message "user X's box is full and he cannot accept pms now" or "user X selected not to receive PMs or isn't allowed to". Well great, now you tell me!

Have no fear, a hack is here: a simple button that allows you to verify a user accepts PMs before you actually go about filling in the message area.

(This is especially helpful if you are using no-cache headers in private.php or in general, because hitting 'back' on the browser in those cases doesn't help - your message will have been lost.)

The hack is very simple and should be quite easy to install. The instructions are enclosed in the txt attachment.

Cheers,

Bira

This is one of my all time favorites. I really wish it was built in to vB.

heh, gotta admit I feel the same  -- it's a really small hack, but I use it so very often, and my users love it. I'd be really happy to see it included in vB
