Duckways: Trade / sales feedback



What is this mod all about?

A lot of boards have a marketplace or sales area on their platform. Users trading with each other over the internet, that doesn't go well every time.... So, to keep track of users and their trading we now announce our new Trade / Sale plugin!

In the settings you select channels where sale/trade topics are placed. On top of every topic you'll then find a "Give feedback" button. Users can rate each other 1 to 5 stars, their profile will show an average next to every post.






About Duckways

We're a company with a team of developers who have been working a lot on a vBulletin 4 system for two of our customers. The largest one with over 200,000 users and 4 million posts.
This one migrated to vBulletin 5 recently and we've faced quite some issues in vBulletin 5 which we'll fix by writing custom modifications. Some of those, which are worth sharing, will be added here on vBulletin.org. If you're missing a feature or add-on, please feel free to contact us.


How to install:

- Download the zip file below
- Unzip it and upload the folder "duckwaystrade" to the "core/packages" folder in your vBulletin install.
- Install the XML by importing it as a new product, the path to fill in is: "./core/packages/duckwaystrade/xml/product_duckwaystrade.xml" without quotes.

- Usergroup permissions, choose who can view/give/receive feedback per usergroup (Go to usergroups and edit the usergroup you want to change permissions for)
- Show simple feedback overview below user avatar in threads
- User profile tab with full overview of ratings/feedback

Its a great base app, what I would like to add is,
To have: mutual feedback enabled (so far only one party can give feedback, you can't return feedback back. )
Amounts of Exchange displayed.
Not possible to give feedback twice in a row, meaning double. Which I can now.

Installed in 5.4.4 but when sending a message it gives me an invalid url error or it takes me to the forum home. There is some way to correct this. Thank you
