Migrated forums to a new server and now new posts are not showing up
I migrated my forums to a new server. I exported and then imported my database using a large .sql
The forums seem to be working except when I try to make a post. It just adds a shell of a post without any text. I check the database and see a row being inserted to vb3_post but the pagetext value is null. I create a test post using the vb api and I can see the contents of this post. Is there anything else I can try? Code:
<? ini_set('display_errors', 1); ini_set('display_startup_errors', 1); error_reporting(E_ALL); require_once('./global.php'); require_once(DIR . '/includes/class_dm.php'); require_once(DIR . '/includes/class_dm_threadpost.php'); $threadid = 148576; $forumid = 2; $threadinfo = fetch_threadinfo($threadid); $foruminfo = fetch_foruminfo($forumid); $text = 'Hello World'; $postdm =& datamanager_init('Post', $vbulletin, ERRTYPE_STANDARD, 'threadpost'); $postdm->set_info('thread', $threadinfo); $postdm->set_info('forum', $foruminfo); $postdm->set('threadid', $threadid); $postdm->set('userid', 71495); $postdm->set('pagetext', $text); $postdm->set('allowsmilie', 1); $postdm->set('visible', 1); $postdm->set('dateline', TIMENOW); $postdm->save(); ?> |

Have you tried rebuilding your cache?

Are you using the same PHP version? It's possible that you are using a plugin or PHP version that's not working properly on the new server with your current installation.
