Allow image uploads in Groups?

I did a search but could not find anything. I'm running 4.2.5 and have a lot of users who have set up "Groups" to discussion interests beyond what my forum is about. However, for posting images, it only allows images to be linked from URLs and not by uploading. Does anyone know how I could modify the Group script so that when starting a new discussion or replying in an existing discussion, it would allow images to also be uploaded from computer (like when posting in the regular forums)?
