Hi guys - I don't know php or anything like that so I'm requesting a hack - which I hope is possible. I think what I am asking for should be in the full release of vBulletin and I hope that others will agree that a hack of this nature would be good.
When setting up a forum you can specify to override the user's template choice so that everyone in that particular forum uses the same template. In the same way, I would like to be able to specify the order in which posts appear in each forum (UBB allows this). For example, I would like to specify that some forums show the oldest posts first and other forums the newest posts first. I'd also like to be able to override the user default view settings. For example, if a user has selected in his profile that he wishes to so the posts for only the last 5 days, I want to be able override this on some forums so that all posts are shown regardless. I assume that this sort of hack would be fairly straight forward, so I hope some can help me with this. Many thanks in advance. |

You can already do this ... when setting up or modifying a forum its an option somewhere at the bottom of the screen. |
