Hi,
Is there any limit to the amount you are allowed to hack your boards? Say if I made a almost completely different app and used the base vBulletin libraries would this be ok? (not for re-distribution of course)

I beleive you can hack your boards to any extent, as hacks aren't supported by Jelsoft. Of course, as you said, you can-not distribute the base files of vbulletin.
Sounds like you have quite the plan for hacking your forums
